About Us
Sunny Acres Animal Rescue is a foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves the communities of NW Illinois as well as out of state areas where the need is high. We are committed to rescuing stray, abandoned, neglected and surrendered animals including dogs, cats, and various farm animals. Our work is accomplished by our dedicated team of volunteers, fosters, and supporters who collectively work together to save lives and create new beginnings.

Founded in 2023, we are a new and upcoming rescue with a passion to make a difference in animal rescue.
Our mission
The first step to forever - Our mission is based on rescuing animals in need, providing veterinarian and rehabilitative care and placing our adoptable pets in safe and loving, forever homes. We value educating and providing resources to our communities to ensure healthy, happy homes for all pets.
